Kanvili School, Tamale

The Kanvili School in Tamale, Northern Ghana was opened in 1960.  It is a very poor regional area and most families are subsistence farmers. The School Community is beginning the task of redeveloping the school over the next three years. The initial project, now completed has been a water harvesting project to ensure the school has access to regular water. Projects planned for the next two years include school library, staffroom, additional classrooms and a home economics and computer laboratory.
