Perth supporters rallied to support the work of ERFA at the second annual Liberate Lives AFL Luncheon held at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth on the 30th August.

There were over 200 in attendance and over $120,000 fundraised for programs in both Africa and The Philippines.

The event was sponsored by Neil Allison, CEO of PayWise. Together with his wife Louise of ERFA’s Melbourne office, they led this very successful event to advance the cause of our work in both Africa and the Philippines. Brothers Frank O’Shea (Ruben Centre) and Rod Ellyard (ERM Philippines) were guests.

Presenters were TV Sports Journalist Tim Gossage, Olympic Paralympian Kurt Fearnley, AFL Umpires Head Coach Hayden Kennedy, AFL legends Ron Alexander and Peter Mann, and leading TV News Presenter Rick Ardon, who paid tribute to John Carrigg and the Christian Brothers. Steve Bowman was also recognised for his dedicated work at the Edmund Rice Centre Mirabooka. Good support came from Aquinas, Trinity, CBC Fremantle and Edmund Rice College Bindoon.

Thank you to all those who came and supported the event!
