International Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women each year on March 8th.
Yet progress has slowed in many places across the world, so global action is needed to accelerate gender parity.
“Poverty is sexist. The poorer the society, the less power women have. Men decide if a woman is allowed to go outside, talk to other women, earn an income. The male dominance in poorer societies is mind-blowing.” Bill Gates
Today on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the achievements of the women and girls you support in ERFA projects all over the world.
Women and girls who face unimaginable struggles and challenges every day, yet can walk through it stronger, empowered and with a smile!
We thank you for allowing us to be a part of your world and your journey.
