Doco in a Day 2026 brought together 248 students from across Australia — all with one mission: to use the power of storytelling to champion access to education. In just one school day, 60 short documentaries were created. And the results? Absolutely inspiring.
From creative concepts and powerful messages to strong calls for justice, every entry showed heart, talent and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Thanks to all the schools, teachers and students for stepping up to the Doco in a Day challenge. We’re seriously proud of every single entry. Picking a winner for Best Doco wasn’t easy. The quality was next-level.
