Justice Desk Africa
In South Africa, boys grow up believing strength means violence. These harmful ideas fuel gangs, abuse, and broken communities.
Justice Desk Africa mentors boys and young men through outdoor education and practical life skills to help boys grow empathy, resilience, and respect.

Together, we can help boys at risk to help grow empathy, resilience, and respect.

In communities affected by poverty, gang activity, and violence, many boys grow up without safe spaces or positive role models. Harmful ideas about masculinity fuel cycles of violence, gang recruitment, and gender-based abuse.
iNtsika yeThemba (Pillars of Hope) is a Justice Desk Africa project working with boys and young men from high-risk South African communities to break the cycle before it begins.
Through long-term mentorship, outdoor education, and life skills training, the project creates safe spaces where boys can;
Participants don’t just change their own lives, they become advocates for non-violence and gender equality, influencing peers, families, and communities.
The ripple effect includes reduced gang recruitment, safer neighbourhoods, and stronger respect for women and girls.

Your support helps raise a generation of men who are true pillars of hope – creating communities where women and girls live free from violence.
