• We work with the poorest of communities, helping them to create education-based solutions for what they’ve told us are their biggest needs (not telling them what we think they need).
• Whenever possible, your donation will be used to support activity that delivers ongoing benefits to communities. However, sometimes welfare (such as clothing, food or medicines for individuals) is a necessary steppingstone to empowerment. Your donation will be used where it is most needed unless you include a comment in the message space provided.
• We work to safeguard your funds from the risk of complex issues of corruption, human rights abuses and terrorism.
• We are unable to accept donations for individual support. If you would like to discuss your donation, please contact us.

In rural western Kenya, classrooms are overcrowded, teachers are untrained and under-supported, and children are leaving school unable to read, leaving them disadvantaged for life.
