About the award - Edmund Rice Foundation

To remember and commemorate Greg, Flexible Schools are invited to apply for the annual Greg Hildebrand Award.

Grants are awarded to Flexible Schools to fund an initiative that supports young people and reflects the creativity and passions of Greg’s life.

Applications will be shortlisted using a scoring system by a panel of judges.

Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) Flexible Schools Network currently operates 22 flexible learning centres, each a registered school, around Australia.

They provide a place and an opportunity for young people to engage with learning and community. Flexible learning centres operate on a common ground basis where young people are empowered to determine their own pathways.
