Experience East Africa ‘Gone Fishing’

Nairobi, Kenya

Gone Fishing is currently on hold until such time as restrictions are lifted for travel outside of Australia, due to COVID-19.  Any updates we have will be posted both here and to our Facebook page.
June 2020

Gone Fishing is a 12 day African immersion visiting ERFA partner programs. It is aimed at connecting the people of Africa with decision makers in corporate Australia who have influence over the decision-making structures that will determine the world of tomorrow.
Gone Fishing provides a unique opportunity to participate in a meaningful and challenging international professional development program. The program seeks to harness and further develop the leadership, management and interpersonal skills of each attendee whilst at the same time presenting the human face of Africa with all its vibrancy and complexity.

ERFA’s hope is to inspire, challenge and engage each participant to be an agent for change in their own community and to motivate others to support the impoverished and disempowered on their own doorstep.

The hope of the program is one of a connection – it is not a fundraising initiative.

Best Foot Forward 2021

We’re asking for your help so that SHE can put HER best foot forward.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, violence against women and girls has intensified.

The opportunity to gain education and skills is the key to HER long-term empowerment.

Our goal is to raise $150,000 in 24 hours on the 12th November 2021, so that disadvantaged women and girls can have access to opportunity through education.
