Gone Fishing is designed for business leaders and professionals.
It is an immersion experience for people who are curious, reflective, and open to being changed by walking alongside others. It’s not a tour, and it’s not about fixing or leading. It’s about presence, listening, and shared humanity.
Each year, a small group travels to East Africa to spend time with our project partners — educators, community leaders, families and young people — who are shaping their own futures with courage and dignity.
For many participants, this journey comes at a turning point:
– a desire to take a break
– a sense that change is needed
– a longing for perspective
If this resonates, we’d love to start a conversation.
Express Your Interest in joining Gone Fishing in October 2026.
Expect a jam-packed itinerary. But, we haven’t forgotten fun and downtime!
There will be multiple opportunities to enjoy Kenya’s world-famous coffee and shop for special mementos. Many of the programs we visit offer beautiful, handcrafted homewares and fashion items that we encourage you to purchase, as the profits directly support the programs. Beyond our programs, we will visit some bespoke markets and hand-crafted social enterprises in both Kenya and Uganda.
Recently, a group of incredible individuals from BildGroup, You Who and CV Services Group joined our Gone Fishing immersion — a journey that went far beyond travel.

Natasha Facci embarked on a two-week ‘Gone Fishing’ immersion in East Africa in 2023. Natasha’s journey, supported by BildGroup, exposed her to the stark realities and inspiring resilience of local communities and the necessity for community consultation.
