It was a stunning day for the 3rd annual ERFA Golf Day in Brisbane with St Lucia Golf Links being our hosts once again.

The day was originally scheduled for March but with COVID-19 postponing the event to August, there was certainly a lot of excitement in the build up.

Record numbers showed up in support and a great day was had by all on and off the course. Once again, the best dressed competition attracted a lot of entrants and helped set the scene for an extremely social but COVID-safe event. Edmund Rice Camps Queensland did a great job of entertaining all participants on the course as well as telling a few stories of their great work at the same time.

To date, the event has helped us raise $14,000, as well as some much needed awareness of our inspirational educational programs around the globe. With all the challenges that our beneficiaries are facing right now, this is just invaluable.

Congratulations must go to the following team winners for their performances (or choice of wardrobe):

BEST DRESSEd: OzTix

MUKURU (Gone Fishing)CUP: Place Woolloongabba #1

ALUMNI CUP: Rowland

PARENTS CUP: Place Woolloongabba #1

OVERALL: Place Woolloongabba #1

Thank you once again to our generous supporters of the day in LifeCare FurnitureFlight Centre Travel AcademyGreen OptionsPlayBook and CV Services. The event would not be possible without your support.

Last week ERFA facilitated a video meeting between our Kenyan Office and the students from Victoria’s Parade College to discuss the impact of COVID-19.
