All provided a great insight into the Carnival. An impressive number of people, all-willing to give their time and energy into continuing to build awareness for Ruben. Auctioneer extraordinaire Milo Rasinac and his team captivated everyone resulting in enthusiastic bidding.
In many ways these events are the core support for the 4,000 children and their families at Ruben. It was also fantastic to hear from Paddy and Lani Howe about their recent trip to Ruben. Their stories about an impressive young man Greg Barake, working in public relations at Ruben and Samson’s incredible journey is a powerful testament to the transformative power of education. Today, Samson is not only breaking the cycle of poverty for himself but is stepping forward to champion public health for his community and beyond.
These stories validate that each one of us that attends these luncheons is helping to make a vast difference to so many people in desperate need at Ruben.
