In classrooms around the country, 289 students took on the Doco in a Day challenge — to create a powerful short documentary in just one day.
The results are nothing short of inspiring. 86 compelling stories that are insightful, passionate, and deeply moving.
These young changemakers put their creativity, compassion and critical thinking into action — producing heartfelt and inspiring docos that shine a light on the urgent global issue of access to education.
But Doco in a Day isn’t just about creating films.
It’s about making a real-world impact. Students are raising their voices and funds to support Edmund Rice Foundation projects across East and Southern Africa, Australia, the Philippines and Timor Leste — projects that provide life-changing access to education and opportunities for those who need it most.
