ERFA supporters will be as delighted as we are to hear that Mary Rice Centre Kenya
has reopened its doors earlier this month.

Mary Rice Centre delivers a holistic education package to vulnerable children living with a disability in Kenya, including literacy, life skills and vocational training.
For children living with an intellectual disability who value the routine of the school day, the shutdown last year was particularly disruptive. We will keep our supporter network posted with all the great news sure to come out of the centre this year!
Edmund Rice Eldoret Empowerment Program has started the year full of energy, hosting its first camp last weekend to great success!

1 in 3 children in Western Kenya cannot read a single word.

As we head towards the end of the financial year, your gift can help children learn, read and thrive.

In rural western Kenya, classrooms are overcrowded, teachers are untrained and under-supported, and children are leaving school unable to read, leaving them disadvantaged for life.

But, with your help, this can change.

With improved teacher training, better literacy support and safer classrooms, children can gain the foundational skills they need to succeed at school and beyond.

Your support this tax time will help train teachers, strengthen schools and help thousands of children learn to read with confidence.
