To keep Edmund Rice Catholic Education Centre sustainable, we built a modern dairy unit that does two things:
- 1. generates income for the school and
- 2. trains students and the community in real-world agricultural skills.
Today, the dairy has 34 cows and produces:
- > Fresh milk and dairy products
- > Biogas for clean energy
- > Training for students and local farmers
Profits go straight back into school programs, strengthening education for hundreds of children.
The on-site café connects the project to the community, boosting visibility and sales.
Partnerships with local farms and technical colleges ensure quality milk supply and hands-on training aligned with Kenya’s curriculum.
