A tailoring hub at St Joseph’s Kensekka Vocational Secondary School trains marginalised youth in tailoring and produces school uniforms for the region to generate income that helps sustain the school.

In Kyalurangira County, many young people have limited access to education, skills training, and secure employment. Economic shocks and unemployment leaves youth with few chances to build a stable future.
The St. Joseph’s Kensekka Tailoring Hub, run by St. Joseph’s Kensekka Vocational Secondary School (SJKVSS), is changing this. It’s a dual-purpose initiative that provides practical vocational training while generating income to help sustain the school.
