WASH PRoject: clean water, hygiene and dignity

Overall impact

• More than 500 students, 30 teachers, and 51,766 community members stand to benefit from access to clean, safe water and improved sanitation.
• The project will deliver:
  • – Clean filtered water through a new pump and filtration system
  • – Safe biodigester toilets and hygienic facilities
  • – Hygiene training for families across 11 villages
• Girls — often missing school due to lack of facilities — will experience dramatically improved safety, privacy, and dignity.
