About

In Mukuru, limited access to quality healthcare puts mothers and children at serious risk of preventable illness and death. Barriers to antenatal care, skilled deliveries, and timely treatment lead to maternal and infant mortality in one of Nairobi’s most marginalised communities.

The Ruben Centre Health Project is changing this by providing essential, life-saving healthcare while supporting Kenya’s goal of Universal Health Coverage.

The project expands and improves:

  • > Outpatient, maternal, and child health services
  • > Antenatal and postnatal care, skilled deliveries, and immunisations
  • > HIV and TB care, oral health, therapy, and laboratory diagnostics
  • > Maternal nutrition and health education

To ensure quality and sustainability, the project invests in training healthcare workers and community health promoters, alongside improved infrastructure, and data systems.

Your support helps build a healthier, safer community where women and children can access the care they need to survive and thrive.
