She found a like-minded community and a just approach to advocacy at Justice Desk Africa. She joined iNtsika yeThemba as a Project Coordinator – a project supporting young men and boys to defend women’s rights and become pillars of hope within their communities.
Through iNtsika yeThemba, Pabi has witnessed an evolution in young men who learn about essential concepts like boundaries and consent. Those who have been part of iNtsika for months or years carry themselves with a deeper understanding of these principles and standing up for women within their communities.
The ripple effect of Justice Desk Africa extends beyond its beneficiaries. It’s a story of empowerment, education, and the gradual dismantling of societal norms that perpetuate violence against women and girls. Pabi’s journey with Justice Desk Africa, is evidence that every individual, when armed with passion and purpose, has the potential to be a powerful force for positive and sustainable change.
