Providing support to education-based development projects, the stakeholders who enjoy the benefits of everything from schooling to life-skills education are predominantly children. Child safeguarding is a paramount focus at ERFA.
Last year we supported child safeguarding training for 22 youth volunteers at @edmundriceeldoret. Keon, had this to say about his camp experience: “As a youth who has gone through EREEP trainings like advocacy and child safeguarding I am in a better position to protect my siblings while being a good mentor to them. I understand that to change a community the responsibility has to start with me. Having seen the impact the trainings have had on my character I am doing everything I can to mentor others.”
Focusing on youth and children's empowerment through camps, school outreach and sports.
I am so happy and thankful for ERFA for teaching us how to plan, work and plant vanilla in the correct way.

1 in 3 children in Western Kenya cannot read a single word.

As we head towards the end of the financial year, your gift can help children learn, read and thrive.

In rural western Kenya, classrooms are overcrowded, teachers are untrained and under-supported, and children are leaving school unable to read, leaving them disadvantaged for life.

But, with your help, this can change.

With improved teacher training, better literacy support and safer classrooms, children can gain the foundational skills they need to succeed at school and beyond.

Your support this tax time will help train teachers, strengthen schools and help thousands of children learn to read with confidence.
