In Mukuru, poverty and silence put children at risk of abuse and exploitation. Without protection and education, they have no safe place to turn.
Parents, youth, and local leaders learn about human rights and child protection; teens get clear, age-appropriate heath education; staff strengthen safeguarding systems; deliver sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) education; and conduct outreach via radio and social media.

In Mukuru, poverty, gender-based violence, and lack of information puts children and adolescents at serious risk of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Strengthening child protection systems and community awareness is vital to keeping young people safe.
