About

In Mukuru, families face poverty, unemployment, and social exclusion making it hard to provide stability and opportunity for their children. Without support, skills, and pathways to employment, this hardship passes from one generation to the next.

The Social Economic Empowerment through Education (SEETE) Project, delivered by Ruben Centre, helps families break this cycle by building resilience and creating pathways to employment.

SEETE provides:

  • > Parenting and child protection training for safe, supportive households
  • > Psychosocial and legal support to strengthen family stability and resilience
  • > Business development and financial literacy training to boost household income
  • > Youth employability support, including career coaching, vocational guidance, and mental wellness programs
  • > Savings groups that build financial independence and strong social networks

By creating safe community spaces and linking families to essential services, SEETE addresses immediate needs while building long-term capability.

Your support helps families in Mukuru gain stability, young people access jobs, and communities move toward sustainable livelihoods and hope for the future.
