The St Joseph’s Kensekka Vocational School empowers vulnerable youth by providing training and skills to boost employment opportunities.

Currently, ERFA partners in two projects within St Joseph’s Kensekka Vocational School through brick making skills and Tailoring skills.

Empowering youth through Tailoring skill at SJKVSS

This project will provide training in tailoring skills increasing employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for youth in Rakai, Uganda. Items such as uniforms and bags made by trainees will be sold to contribute to the school’s income.

Empowering vulnerable youth through brick MAKING skill at SJKVSS

This project will provide training in brick laying increasing employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for youth in Rakai, Uganda. Bricks made by trainees will be sold to contribute to the school’s income and some bricks will be used for the school’s own construction needs.
