Kate WALSH-ROSE | ERFA BOARD MEMBER

As a passionate swimmer Kate stepped out of the pool and into the coaching world, whilst studying a Bachelor of Education and Commerce.  Working in the community and recreation sectors for 10 years, Kate has lectured at national and international conferences, developed education and health programs, and spent numerous years in remote Australia delivering Youth Services.

After returning from the Kimberley’s Kate transferred her skills to the building and construction industry, currently leading a young and dynamic team at Ascot Group where she is the General Manager for the Maintenance and Operations divisions.  Kate’s expertise is getting things done and pivoting to keep up with the ever-changing work we live in.  Kate currently sits on the National Women in Construction Events Committee (NAWIC), Building Pride (a LBGTIQ+ networking and support group for the construction industry) and on the finance and risk committee for Women with Disabilities in Victoria (WDV) she has been instrumental in supporting diversity and minority groups to achieve their desired outcomes.
