The 500 Supporters’ Group 2012 AFL Lunch

The 500 Supporters Group 2012 AFL Lunch is to be held in the Olympic Room at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Tuesday, 22 May. Special Guest will be 2011 Brownlow Medallist, Dane Swan. The 500 Supporters Group twice yearly lunches provide funding for health and education projects supported by the Foundation is East Africa, especially Ruben Centre. Just My Story and Walking the Talk

Just My Story & Walking the Talk is a Social Justice Education Unit which has been developed through the collaborative effort of Br Damien Price and film production company, Digital Black. The unit is comprised of short documentary films (Just My Story) and curriculum materials (Walking the Talk). Two of the short films feature the experiences of Katrina and Chris, young Australia volunteers at Comunidade Edmund Rice in Timor Leste.
